Nepal will face Bhutan in the 4th match of the Men’s Cricket in the 13th South Asian Games at the TU International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. The match has been scheduled to start from 9:00 AM onwards.
Nepal and Bhutan, both of these sides have lost their first games and would be eager to grab two important points in the upcoming match.
Nepal has a sound batting line up with the likes of Dipendra Singh Airee, Paras Khadka and Gyanendra Malla. Previously, Airee played a brilliant knock of 72 runs off 44 balls but his heroic inning went to vain as the team lost a close match against Sri Lanka U23 in the last over. However, they would be eager to come with some power packed performance to outclass Bhutan.
Bhutan didn’t get off to a great start to their tournament and also has already faced a big defeat against Sri Lanka U23. They need to come up with extra effort if they are looking forward to beat strong-side Nepal. Moreover, they need to fill up the voids in their batting line up ahead of the upcoming match.
The Wednesday morning will witness low temperatures in Kirtipur but no rain is in the forecast during the match timings. However, the temperature is expected to deviate between 22 and 25 Degree Celsius according to Accuweather.
The Tribhuvan University Ground in Kirtipur is expected to go in favour of batsmen with bowlers have nothing much to gain at this venue in the early stage of the match. In the second half of the innings, the spinners might get some assistance from the wicket. However, the team winning the toss is expected to bat because the teams have found it difficult to chase at this venue.
